I use 1/8th inch tempered Hardboard made of natural wood fiber that give you amazingly durable and lightweight chalkboards.

Use any kind of wet erase marker for a more professional look or plain chalk for a little more rustic style! All are wipe able with any ammonia base cleaner. I cut your board to shape and all the fun starts from there!! Heavy Wooden frames can weigh you down so I have created a super lightweight decorative frame I can faux finish in many ways. My 20 years as a Faux Finisher has come in handy!
